  6. constriction in a pipe) and vice versa.
  7. The principle also explains the pressure
  8. differences on each surface of an
  9. aerofoil, which gives lift to the wing of an
  10. aircraft. The principle was named after the
  11. Swiss physicist Daniel Bernoulli.
